TODAY’S TRADEMARK – RAMPAGE

The trademark of the brand RAMPAGE, owned by G&L Musical Products, Inc., was registered in USPTO bearing registration number 78808164 on April 13, 2010.

In March 1991, Leo Fender, widely regarded as the father of modern music, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of innovation and excellence. His friend John C. McLaren took over ownership of G&L, upholding Leo’s vision of creating exceptional instruments.

Today, G&L instruments, known for their superior quality and sound, are manufactured in Leo’s historic factory in California.

The Rampage Jerry Cantrell model retains the original features such as the Soft Maple body, Hard Rock Maple neck with Ebony fingerboard, and Kahler vibrato. However, Jerry Cantrell modified the necks to fit a stronger Floyd Rose locking nut, improving stability and sustain. Additionally, the Kahler vibrato is recessed into the body, allowing for lower action. The model also boasts a potent Paul Gagon-designed humbucker, enhancing its pairing with the Soft Maple body.
