TODAY’S TRADEMARK – TRUMP TOWER

Trump Tower is a mixed-used skyscraper in Mid-Town Manhattan, New York. It is a 58-floor and 664-foot-tall building and was the principal residence of its developer and cognomen, Donald Trump, at the time of his election as the President of the United States in 2016.

Trump Tower is made of reinforced concrete construction and has a dark glass curtain wall. The building has a nicked façade with 28 sides, maximizing the number of corner rooms in the tower. Trump Tower was designed by Der Scutt, a designated architect at New York firm of Swanke Hayden Connell Architects and was built between 1980-1984.

Trump Tower in Manhattan serves as the headquarters for the Trump Organization. It should also be noted that the Trump Tower is not the only skyscraper to carry the Trump name and that the names of Trump Tower or Trump Towers have been affixed to buildings in other cities as well.

The trademark “Trump Tower” was registered in USTPO bearing registration number 1688083 on May 19, 1992.
