Semifreddi’s Bakery serves the whole San Francisco Bay Area. It is an Alameda-based artisan bakery. The name Semifreddi means “half-frozen” in Italian. It is situated at Alameda, California. It is the largest artisan wholesale bread and pastry bakeries in the Bay Area. The two major player in the bread industry of San Francisco Bay are Semifreddi’s and Acme. Semifreddi’s moved into a 33,000 square foot facility in 2009. There 95 percent of the bakery waste is recycled.  It operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for all 52 weeks of the year.  Over 25 different recipes are utilized by the bakery. It bakes more than 50 different artisan breads and pastries.  Semifreddi’s bakes and delivers over 200,000 baguettes, rolls, and loaves and 40,000 pastries and cookies in a week.  Semifreddi’s sells to grocery stores, restaurants, and cafés throughout the bay area.

The trademark of this company was registered in USPTO bearing registration number 1791053 on August 31, 1993.
