Christian Dior, aka Christian Dior SE is a French luxury fashion house. The company was founded by the French Fashion Designer Christian Dior in 1946. The brand sells shoes and clothing and can only be bought in Dior stores.
The House of Dior was established in 1946 in Paris. Christian Dior’s first collection launched on February for Spring/Summer 1947 at the company’s headquarters. The brand continued to flourish and by the mid-1950s the house of Dior was a highly respected fashion empire. After the death of Christian Dior, Saint Laurent kept Christian Dior’s legacy alive by using the same fabrics. Laurent’s collections featured pieces that were softer, lighter and easier to wear.
Over the years, several celebrities have been the face of Lady Dior including Diana Kruger, Carla Bruni, Monica Belluci and Marion Cotillard. Till today, the Lady Dior remains an iconic piece for the brand.
The trademark of “Christian Dior” was registered in USPTO bearing registration number 0523754 on April 11, 1950.
