Today’s Trademark – CHEESEBURGER IN PARADISE

This is a famous song which is written and performed by American popular singer Jimmy Buffett was released as a single became the signature song of Buffett in the year 1978 and became the biggest hit. It first appeared in his album Son of a Sailor. The song is based on a man who was changing his eating habits from carnivorous food to healthy foods but was forced to rely on  canned food and peanut butter since there was a mishap in Caribbean but he managed to order the dish which is the title of the song.

The name of the song was licensed to OSI Restaurant Partners as the name of the Buffett theme Cheeseburger in Paradise by Buffett’s company Margaritaville Holding LLC in the year 2002. By 2006, the Restaurant had spread its branches to 38 locations in 17 states. The menu card at Margaritaville café located in United States, Mexico, Canada, Caribbean had ‘Cheeseburger in Paradise as a item.

The trademark of this company was registered in USPTO bearing registration number  1765057 on April 13, 1993.
