TRADEMARK OF THE WEEK – POLICE

The “police” mark was registered on 30 January, 1997 by the Goh Mei Lingin the Malaysian trademark office bearing registration number 97001329.

Police is an Italian manufacturer of accessories for fashion. The De Rigo brothers introduced Charme Lunettes in 1983 as the primary brand of their business, which was initially focused on producing sunglasses for other people. The De Rigo collection of brands and businesses currently has a business unit under the Police name.

Police introduced its first line of perfumes in 1997 and its first line of watches in 2003. In 2013, the firm unveiled its first line of clothing.

Numerous celebrities, including Paolo Maldini, Bruce Willis, George Clooney, David Beckham, Neymar, Ji Chang-wook, and Antonio Banderas, have promoted the Police brand. In Formula 1, Police also collaborates with and supplies the Mercedes-AMG Petronas to Formula One Team.
