Kemps was founded in 1914 by William Henry Kemps. Situated in St. Paul, Minnesota, Kemps LLC is an American dairy Company. The Lathrop-Kemps Ice Cream Company was founded by William Kemps and Walter Lathrop and is located at 222 Fifth Street in Minneapolis. It is regarded as Kemps’ birthplace.
Marigold Foods was formed by the merger of Wisconsin’s Crescent, Kemps, and Marigold Dairies organisations. Kemps was the new official name of Marigold Foods. Since being bought from HP Hood LLC in 2011, it has become a division of Dairy Farmers of America.
The company offers a variety of products, such as yoghurt, ice cream, sour cream, chip dips, milk, cottage cheese, half-and-half, eggnog, cream, and novelties. While some of these products are available in other parts of the country, the majority are offered in grocery shops across the midwestern region of the United States. Currently, Kemps has five production sites in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
