TODAY’S TRADEMARK – ULTRASONE
Ultrasone AG is a German company specialising in headphones for high end studio, DJ, and consumer uses. Ultrasone’s headquarters are located in Tutzing, Germany. Florian M. König established Ultrasone AG as a German GmbH in December 1990 with the declared goal of producing cutting-edge headphones with a focus on the professional audio market.
The Company filed for trademark registration with the USPTO on January 21, 2003, using registration number 2678792. Their mark has been in use since December 13, 2001.
Many Ultrasone headphones come equipped with a proprietary surround-sound simulacrum technology known as S-Logic.The method aims to replicate sound heard over speakers by dispersing sound around the outer ear using decentralised transducer positioning. Conventional headphones aim the sound straight at the ear.
The LE/ULE (Low/Ultra Low Emission) series of headphones, manufactured since 1999 by Ultrasone AG, are designed to shield the earcups from electromagnetic radiation and employ more efficient transducers, thereby lowering the risk of hearing damage.
According to Ultrasone, magnetic fields thus close to the brain may be “a potential health hazard” and may cause “listener fatigue”. When compared to comparable headphones, Ultrasone claims that theirs can suppress magnetic emissions by up to 98 percent. The founders of ULTRASONE were passionate about improving music listening experiences and headphones. Offering the best products available is still at the heart of all ULTRASONE’s operations, driven by the same dedication.
