TODAY’S TRADEMARK – TOPPER
The Company “TOPPER” filed for trademark registration with the USPTO on November 24, 1992, using registration number 1735780. Their mark has been in use since October 26, 1991.
Founded by Dirk Schulz in 1977, SFI Rotterdam is a family-owned business. They are a stand-alone fresh fruit importer from overseas with a branch in Hamburg, situated in the Rotterdam harbour. Their area of expertise is importing goods from India, North and South America, and Africa. Their primary offerings include stone fruits, blueberries, sweet potatoes, avocados, ginger, kiwi, pomegranates, grapes, citrus, apples, and pears.
Fruit is just a fresh product, to put it simply; intended to reach the final customer as quickly as possible following harvesting. ‘Direct business’ is strongly preferred by SFI for this reason. Through collaborations with growers/exporters, without the involvement of an agency or middleman. This offers the extra benefit of having a solid understanding of quality and 100% traceability of the items.
With a history spanning more than 45 years, SFI is a well-known brand in the industry and is currently led by the second generation.
