TODAY’S TRADEMARK – THE CHEESECAKE FACTORY
The trademark of The Cheesecake Factory is owned by TCF Co. LLC and was registered in USPTO bearing registration number 5241865 on July 11th, 2017
Evelyn Overton’s “Original” cheesecake was inspired by a 1940s Detroit newspaper recipe. Her recipe was so popular that she opened a small bakery, but she gave it up to raise David and Renee. After moving her baking equipment to her basement kitchen, she sold cakes to town’s premier eateries.
In 1978, their son David opened a Beverly Hills café to exhibit his mother’s cakes. He thought a restaurant with a large dessert menu would be popular. Cheesecake Factory prioritize dining and hospitality. Delicious, unforgettable experiences generated by enthusiastic individuals define us and our future.
