TODAY’S TRADEMARK – SMIRNOFF
The “Smirnoff” mark was registered on 29 January, 1990 by the Diageo North America, Inc.in the Bruneian trademark office bearing registration number 16058.
The British firm Diageo owns and produces the Smirnoff vodka brand. Pyotr Arsenievich Smirnov (1831–1898), a vodka distiller in Moscow, established the first Smirnoff Company. It is available in 130 nations. Products from Smirnoff include malt drinks, vodka, and vodka with flavors. Smirnoff was the vodka that sold the most all across the world in 2014.
Using a conventional filtering technique created by P. A. Smirnov, the vodka is prepared unaged. Vladimir Smirnov, Smirnov’s son, developed Recipe No. 21 after fleeing Russia during the October Revolution.
