The Kazakh mark “smirnoff” was registered as a brand on 25th December, 2000 under the company Diageo, bearing the registration no. 11130 under the International class 35.

Smirnoff is a vodka brand that the British business Diageo owns and produces. Pyotr Arsenievich Smirnov established a vodka distillery in Moscow, which is where the Smirnoff brand had its start (1831–1898). It is available in 130 nations. Products from Smirnoff include malt drinks, vodka, and vodka with flavours. Smirnoff was the vodka that sold the most all across the world in 2014. Using a conventional filtering technique created by P. A. Smirnov, the vodka is prepared unaged. Vladimir Smirnov, Smirnov’s son, developed Recipe No. 21 after fleeing Russia during the October Revolution. A notable fact about the brand Smirnoff is, it sells more than 25 million 9-liter cases every year and is the best selling vodka in the world and uses a unique process involving three distillations and ten stages of filtration.
