TODAY’S TRADEMARK – OLD VIENNA
The Company Old Vienna, L.L.C. filed for the Trademark ‘Old Vienna’ with the USPTO on March 22, 1949 and was assigned registration number 507876. The mark has been in use since 1st February,1934.
Louis Kaufman founded a potato chip company in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1936. He had no idea that his Old Vienna Brand nibbles would become a well-known St. Louis mainstay many years later. After 60 years of serving up some of the best snacks this side of the Mississippi, the Old Vienna Snack Food Company closed in 1996 following numerous ownership changes. Fortunately, Old Vienna made a tremendous comeback, owing to the present snack-loving ownership team, for both them and, to be honest, everyone in the world.
Old Vienna LLC was the new ownership that surfaced in 1996. The present administration promised to restore the Old Vienna brand and products to their former grandeur since they recognized the brand’s customer equity.
The business has doubled its growth since 1996 by putting a strong emphasis on quality and their brand of “Red Hot Seasoned” products. The company is grateful for the ongoing support of St. Louis customers who have grown to love their Old Vienna snacks. They undoubtedly owe this to their distinctive and highly seasoned snacks, especially “Red Hot Riplets,” which have become a fiery St. Louis tradition. In the future, they hope to expand their unwavering love of hot snacks to new cities.
