TODAY’S TRADEMARK – MAHINDRA

The “MAHINDRA” mark was registered on 26 December, 1996 by the Mahindra and Mahindra Limited in the Indian trademark office bearing registration number 728305.

Mahindra is one of the biggest Federation of companies based out of India. it was initially founded in the year of 1945 as Mahindra and Muhammad but later renamed as Mahindra & Mahindra. The Company was initially established for being into steel business but over the period of time it kept expanding to different sectors. Presently it functioning in around 22 industrial sectors and functional businesses across 100+ countries of the World. This registered mark of Mahindra is although very much simple in looks as it seems like only a word written but the name itself has been a big and well known one around the world. It also has many other marks and logos which it keeps around this particular mark. For Example, The M design it uses over the word Mahindra in its recent logo has three equal divisions pointing upwards showcasing the forward upward journey of the company. Although all in all even if the designs around the word change but the word that was registered way back has always remained well known and famous.
