America’s most recognisable snack brand, Lays, was created in 1932. With production and distribution facilities located all over the world, it is currently one of the most well-known chip labels. The business was founded by Herman Lay, who changed the name of the Barrett Food Company, which was acquired in 1938, to “HW Lay Lingo &Co.” There are dozens of flavours in Lay’s repertoire, and its product is sold in supermarkets all over the world. The firm, Frito-Lay, owns the brand. The Lay’s brands include virtually few vitamins and minerals of any kind, like the majority of snack foods. Vitamin C has the maximum amount per serving, at 10% of the daily need. Particularly high salt content, with up to 380 mg of sodium per serving. The logo of lay’s is very unique and Lay’s has made various changes over the years in the logo. The word Lay’s is written with white colour on a red ribbon that is wrapped around the yellow ball.
