TODAY’S TRADEMARK – D’NEALIAN
Handwriting expert Donald N. Thurber came up with the D’Nealian Method in the mid-1960s and called it the D’Nealian Method. Learners will find the process of moving from print writing to cursive writing much less challenging as a result of this focus. It is based on the Palmer Method and employs an alphabet that has two sets of letters, one for print writing and one for cursive writing. The first step in Thurber’s method is to instruct students in a print writing form with letters that are similar to one another. The next step is to add “monkey tails” to form the cursive script.
Savvas Learning Company LLC registered the term “D’NEALIAN” on 2nd August 2022 bearing the serial number 97975055. It is a mark registered as a service mark falling under class 041 of the International Classification of Goods and Services. It was first used in commerce on 01.06.2021.
