J. Heinz Company is an American Food Processing company headquartered in Pennsylvania. The Company was established in the year 1869 and small Food packets were being organized and sold.
The Company nearly went bankrupt in the 1880s but managed to survive and grow steadily in the Twentieth century. The Company was very innovative with its Advertising techniques such as the 57 varieties slogan and the Food packing process.
Heinz gradually started new varieties of Food packing such as pasta, beans, etc, and entered into different cuisines as well. In the Twenty-first century, Heinz became a global brand and grew exponentially and set up locations and offices in seven countries worldwide.
In the year 2013, Heinz was acquired by Investment companies Berkshire Hathaway and 3G capital. In the year 2015, Heinz merged with another Food processing company Kraft Foods, becoming Kraft Heinz company which became the fifth-largest food company in the world.
