TRADEMARK OF THE WEEK – BABY EINSTEIN
The Company filed for the Trademark Logo with the EUIPO on 25 March, 2003 and was assigned registration number 784710.
In 1996, Julie Aigner-Clark, a stay-at-home mother and former teacher, founded the Baby Einstein Company as I Think I Can Productions from her suburban Alpharetta, Georgia home.
Baby Einstein is an American franchise and line of multimedia products that includes toys, baby gear, books, CDs, flash cards, and home video programs. The company specialises in interactive activities for babies and toddlers under three years old. The Baby Einstein Company produces the franchise.
The films feature simple patterns, puppet performances, and familiar objects including toys, animals, and common objects for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers under three years old. They are frequently accompanied by classical music that has been reorchestrated and some classic rhymes.
The video series is renowned for its puppets, all of which are animals who don’t often talk and instead interact with one another through basic sounds and animal noises. In addition, the Baby Einstein Company produced a preschool-oriented companion series named Little Einsteins. However, in 2016, they got a brand-new sister program called WeeSchool, which was also developed by Clark.
After being made public in 1996, Baby Einstein was a tiny business until Clark sold it to Disney. From November 7, 2001, to October 13, 2013, Baby Einstein was owned and run by Disney. As of October 14, 2013, Baby Einstein is owned and run by Kids II, Inc.
