TODAY’S TRADEMARK – KITCHENAID

The concept of a stand mixer originated from the ingenuity of Herbert Johnston, an engineer at the Hobart Corporation. In 1914, Johnston was inspired by a baker’s laborious dough mixing process and envisioned a more efficient solution that was when he developed the “H” mixer, primarily intended for industrial use. Hobart stand mixers became standard equipment on all U.S. Navy ships in 1917.

Meanwhile, KitchenAid, under Hobart’s ownership, entered the market of manufacturing blenders and other small appliances in the mid-1990s. To diversify their product offerings and expand their customer base, KitchenAid launched the ProLine range of appliances in 2003.

The mark being registered under class 21 of the International Classifiction and the first use if claimed to be 7^th April 2003. The mark was registered on 07-10-2003, bearing the registration number 2772665. The brand is dedicated to providing cooking utensils, namely vinyl grill covers.
