The Japanese company Kabushiki Kaisha Hitachi Seisakusho DBA Hitachi, Ltd. Corporation owns the trademark “HITACHI.” It was first used on August 15, 1967, for logistics management in the areas of shipping, packaging, storing, and warehousing of goods, promoting other people’s travel tours through the distribution of printed, audio, and visual promotional materials, creating and placing advertisements on websites accessed through a global computer network, and promoting other people’s travel tours through the distribution of discounted car rentals. The HITACHI logo was first used in 1924. It is a service mark with serial number 76090480 that was first registered on May 10, 2005, with registration number 2948368 and earlier registration number 1936429. Hitachi initially focused on producing industrial gear and large electrical goods. Hitachi created the first large-scale direct-current locomotives in Japan in addition to motors, generators, pumps, electrical lines, and transformers.
