TODAY’S TRADEMARK – SUNWAY

The “Sunway” mark was registered on 31 January, 2000 by the Sunway Berhadin the Malaysian trademark office bearing registration number 00000906.

A conglomerate corporation based in Malaysia is called Sunway Berhad or Sunway Group. On August 23, 2011, Sunway City Berhad (SunCity) and Sunway Holdings Berhad merged, creating the new company and Brand name.

The primary goal of Sunway Holdings Incorporated Berhad’s establishment in 1986 was the development of Petaling Jaya’s Bandar Sunway township. On February 16, 1984, it was admitted to trading on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. As opposed to this, Sunway City Berhad was established in 1982 and focuses largely on developing and investing in residential, commercial, retail, recreational, and healthcare buildings across Asia and Australia.Following the township of Sunway City’s success, the Group expanded into real estate investing, entertainment and recreation, hospitality, and healthcare.
