The “CLEAN & CLEAR” mark was registered on 19 December, 2001 by the Johnson & Johnson in the Indian trademark office bearing registration number 1067980.
In 1956, Johnson & Johnson launched the skincare line Clean & Clear. A variety of cleansers and moisturisers are included in the line of products that are targeted at young skin. As of now, the company sells its cosmetics in approximately 50 different nations and is well-known throughout the world for its high standards and competitive pricing. A face cleanser was the very first Clean & Clear item. In the year 1991 the Clean & Clear logo had a blue rectangle along with a white writing. The background of the symbol had a checkered pattern created by thin grey lines that resembled a student’s notepad. The wordmark from the 1990s is established in two levels, with each letter being positioned under the corresponding word. In the year 2003 the logo was redesigned and in that the checkered pattern like notebook was removed and rectangle was made simple with no additional design .The font style of clean & Clear is sans-serif typeface. The tagline used by the clean & Clear is “Clean & Clear and under control”.
