The Hollywood Reporter is an American digital print magazine and website, which centres on the Hollywood films, media and entertainment industries. It was founded as a daily trade paper by William R. Wilkerson in 1930 and in 2010 switched to a weekly format print magazine with a remodelled website.
Founder Wilkerson served as the publisher of the Hollywood Reporter until his death in September 1962. Later, his wife, Tichi Wilkerson Kassel, took over as the publisher and editor-in-chief of the Hollywood Reporter.
The weekly print format edition of the Hollywood Reporter covers profiles, original photography and interviews of famous entertainment figures, TV ratings, latest industry deals red-carpet events and the latest Hollywood fashion and lifestyle. The Hollywood Reporter website, relaunched in 2010, presents entertainment news, reviews and blogs, photo galleries, music, awards, style and business coverage.
The trademark of “The Hollywood Reporter” was registered in USPTO bearing registration number 0856584 on September 10, 1968.
