Tiffany & Co. is one of the world’s most iconic jewellery brand headquartered in New York City. It sells crystal, sterling silver, stationery, fragrances, water bottles, personal accessories, watches and leather goods. Tiffany & Co. dates back to 1837 when a small stationery and fancy goods store was opened by Charles Lewis Tiffany and his friend John B Young in New York City.

Charles passion for acquiring rare and unusual gemstones lead off Tiffany & Co.’s longstanding legacy of discovery and exploration, establishing its name as a world-renowned jeweller. His purchases of gemstones from European aristocrats made the company an ultimate destination for the jewellery its now well-known for. It was the first American company to employ British Silver Standard- 92% pure, for its extravagant products.

The brand divided itself into other arenas apart from jewellery such as tableware, fragrances and luxury home goods. The brand also expanded its stores over different parts of the world. In 2020, Tiffany & Co. operated 326 stores all across the world. In January, 2021 LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton purchased Tiffany & Coo. for $ 15.8 billion.

The trademark of “Tiffany & Co.” was registered in USPTO bearing registration number 1292942 on September 04, 1984.
