TODAY’S TRADEMARK – SKYCOASTER

The original idea of Skycoaster came up in the mind of William Kitchen, founder of Sky Fun Inc., and Ken Bird in the year 1992. Skycoaster is a ride generally in an amusement park which is produced and managed by the Skycoaster Company, LLC.  On the Skycoaster, the passengers are strapped in groups of 1 to 3 in special flight suits, mounted on a launch tower with a winch, the opening rope is pulled to initiate the flight, they swing back and forth on a cable tie until it stops. This ride is compared with the adventure sports like skydiving, bungee jumping, and hang gliding. Currently there are more than 80 Skycoasters which are operating in the world from 100-300 feet. Most locations operate as upcharge attractions with an additional fare charged to riders who have already paid general admission to the park.

The trademark of this company was registered in USPTO bearing registration number 1789534 on August 24, 1994.
