Case IH is a brand of agricultural equipment. It was created in 1985 when Tenneco bought selected assets of the agricultural division from International Harvester and merged it into its J.I. Case Company (IH itself then became Navistar). Today Case IH is owned by CNH Industrial, which in turn is financially controlled by the Italian investment company Exor, which belongs to the Agnelli family.

Case IH history began when, in 1842, Jerome Case founded Racine Threshing Machine Works on the strength of his innovative thresher. Case expanded into the steam engine business in 1869 and, by 1886, Case was the world’s largest manufacturer of steam engines.

Based on CNH AMERICA LLC, the CASE IH trademark is used in the following business: agricultural equipment, namely, combines, balers, harvesters, windrowers, plows, tillers, grain drills, mower conditioners, mowers, rakes, balers, planters, cultivators, harrows, earth loaders, distributors and spreaders for manure and fertilizer, grinder-mixers; diesel engines, transmissions and parts for the foregoing goods , tractors and structural parts therefore.

The CASE IH trademark was assigned a Serial Number #74699501 – by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), bearing registration number
3274224 on 7th August, 2007.
