The Frederick S. Pardee RAND Graduate School (Pardee RAND) is a private graduate school in Santa Monica, California affiliated with the RAND Corporation. The school offers doctoral studies in policy analysis as well as hands-on experience working on RAND research projects to address current public policy issues. Its campus is shared with the RAND Corporation, and the majority of its faculty is drawn from RAND’s 950 researchers. The 2018–19 student body constitutes of 116 men and women from 26 different countries. Pardee RAND students gain practical experience and earn fellowships by working as members of RAND’s interdisciplinary research teams, first as apprentices and then in roles of increasing responsibility and autonomy. The Western Association of Schools and Colleges has accredited Pardee RAND (WASC). The school was first accredited in 1975 and was reaccredited for ten years in 2011. (until 2020).
