It is a non profit organization which provides education, counselling and job skills to unemployed young America adults between the age group 16 years to 24 years especially who are high school dropouts on voluntary basis. They have their headquarter in Somerville, Massachusetts. In USA there are total 273 Youth Build programs.  They have a capacity of 10,000 students annually. The five components of the programs are construction, education, counseling, leadership, and graduate opportunity and it provides opportunity to give students marketable job skills and creates housing for low income people. With a goal of attaining a GED,  the alternate weeks are spent on education in the Youth Build classroom. In order to help them deal with the anger management, family responsibility and other issues, The counselling facility is available to them. The Youth Build graduates go on to college, work in the non-profit sector, serve on committees, or even run in local politics.
