The Missouri Valley Conference was established 12 years after the Big Ten in the year 1907 and was named as Missouri Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Association. In United States, it is the third oldest college athletic conference after The Big Ten conference and Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association. During the 2006-07 college basketball season, the Missouri Valley Conference held a non-conference record of 74-27 along with a record of 44-1 at home. The current members are Bradley University, Drake University, University of Evansville, Illinois State University, Indiana State University, Loyola University Chicago, Missouri State University, University of Northern lowa, Southern Illinois University and Valparaiso University. Currently its members are located in the mid-western United States.
